Omarama Golf Course

Omarama is a typical New Zealand 9 hole course that provides variety by changing tee locations on second nine.

Some holes change from par 4 to par 5 and par 4 to par 3 and a par 3 goes from 145 meters first time round

to 195 meters second time round.

The course is in a clover leaf design which means every three holes go past the 19th hole, this is useful both in the winter if inclement weather hits or in summer when the heat calls for a "refreshment break."

The Southern Alps provide a spectacular backdrop especially in the winter when covered in snow, "also provides a great

distraction when the golf is not too hot, summer and winter."

Omarama is fully NZ Golf Affiliated and also has 3 sister clubs, which means if you are a member of one you get

free green fees on the others.
